About Our Founders
In-Home Tutors is wholly owned by Deo Gloria LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. Deo Gloria was founded by Dennis and Deelee Freeman, who have lived in the Atlanta area since 1996. Dennis has an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. Deelee has an M.A. in Communications from the University of Denver. Their four children attended Cobb County schools and have now all graduated from college.
More than 8,500 Clients Served Since 2002
In-Home Tutors has provided private tutoring services to more than 8,500 families since its flagship In-Home Tutors Atlanta launch in January 2002. Our tutors are experienced college graduates and teachers with specialized knowledge of such subjects as algebra, geometry, reading, English literature, chemistry and biology. In-Home Tutors’ focus on high levels of personal service earned us Kudzu’s Best Tutoring Service in Atlanta every year since 2012. We have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 2002 and hold an A+ rating.
Our Mission
Our mission and business model is built on helping our clients one-by-one. We are not a computer marketplace, where you select a tutor from a huge database and hope they will contact you. Instead, we will listen carefully to your requirements and choose the best tutor we have who meets your needs. And we will personally follow up after the first lesson, to make sure we have a good fit.
A New Way to Tutor Students with ADHD
Over the years, we noticed how bright, intelligent students with ADHD were falling behind — not because they struggled with any subject, but because they were disorganized or lacked good study skills. We launched HomeworkCoach as a sister company specifically to help ADHD and disorganized children succeed in school. We build Executive Functioning skills, resulting in less frustration and more success all around. Our methodology is available through both In-Home Tutors and HomeworkCoach.
Managing Director
Krysta DeMilio
Day to day management of In-Home Tutors is handled by Krysta DeMilio. A lifelong resident of Central Florida, Krysta obtained a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining us in 2016, Krysta served as Regional Manager of A-to-Z Tutoring.
Account Manager
Blake Chumley
Blake joined In-Home Tutors in 2022 to help connect students with incredible tutors and ensure clients have a seamless experience. She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Blake has five years of experience as a private math tutor for K-12 and college students and worked for three years at Mathnasium. Passionate about helping others, she is proud to support students and families across Atlanta through In-Home Tutors.
