Developing speech and language skills is difficult. Ask all the animals that have tried it! No wonder children make mistakes as they are learning to speak.  The good news: most children eventually drop errors in their speech and develop normal speech patterns.  But sometimes, children continue to make errors longer than they should. 

When to seek help from a speech pathologist:

	You, family members or friends have a hard time understanding your child.
	A child demonstrates frustration because others don’t understand his/her speech.
