Rae McCutcheon
Rae has been tutoring for us since 2016. She is great with all ages, from kindergarten through high school. She is also one of our “homework coaches,” building Executive Functioning skills of her ADHD students.

“I began tutoring fellow students in high school in many subjects ranging from Biology and Chemistry to English, History, Spanish and more. In college, I began to specialize in math and science tutoring and was able to live off the income from doing so.
“I moved to Charleston after graduating from USC and was employed with three different companies: I worked for Kaleidoscope and oversaw second grade and kindergarten classes for two summers. I was hired by University Instructors as an in-classroom assistant for a middle school algebra class.
“The third company I worked with was Math Made Simple. I was offered a full-time position, becoming their main tutor for the Charleston area. My students ranged in age from 9 to 22 years old and I taught everything from basic Arithmetic through college level Calculus.”
